Ten years of journeying together through wind and rain, ten years of shared comm

Ten years of journeying together through wind and rain, ten years of shared commitment. Tonight, the lights shine bright, and songs and dances fill the air. We are not only celebrating Myanmar’s grandest and most joyful Water Festival, but also the 10th anniversary of our Myanmar factory. Two joyous occasions coincide – cheers rise, water splashes mingle with smiling faces, and blessings intertwine with gratitude. At this moment, we recall the scene ten years ago when the factory’s machines roared for the first time. Step by step, under the wise leadership of our Chinese management and through the hands of over three thousand Myanmar brothers and sisters, we have built and expanded the Myanmar factory, turning this land into a home of modern industry.

At the start of the celebration, Production Manager Mr. Tang delivered a speech on behalf of the leadership. She said, “Over these ten years, it hasn’t been us leading you forward – it’s all of you, with your hard work, paving the road we walk together. In the future, we will stand even more united, overcome difficulties together, and do everything we can to create another, even more brilliant decade.” As her voice faded, applause and cheers soared to the skies.

The highlight of the celebration was the cultural performances put on by the employees themselves. The most touching was the opening song and dance – the men’s powerful voices sang of ten years of struggle and emotion; the women danced to the rhythm, their skirts swirling with the joy of harvest. Singing and dancing in harmony, one couldn’t help but recall the stories of these ten years of hard work – everything vivid before their eyes

As a melodious traditional folk song began, Myanmar girls dressed in dazzling traditional costumes danced gracefully. Their fingers moved like blooming lotus flowers, their waists swayed like palm fronds in the breeze – showing the gentle beauty of Myanmar women and the charm of their national culture through warm, elegant movements. It was not merely dance; it was culture breathing, faith turning – grace revealing spirit, every turn embodying the soul of a people.

Just as everyone was still immersed in the softness of the traditional dance, the music suddenly switched to an explosive beat – modern dance arrived! A few cool, sharp-edged girls stormed the stage with fierce rhythm; every head toss, every freeze was full of power and edge. Trend and wildness twisted into a rope within them. The background music shook the floor, their clean, sharp moves set the entire venue ablaze – screams, whistles, and applause merged into a wave of heat, and everyone swayed to the beat. This is our youth, our wildness, and the heart of our factory – still blazing hot after ten years!

After each performance came the most anticipated moment – the “lucky draw.” A glittering gold lucky draw box was carried onto the stage. First the production team leaders, then department supervisors, and finally the managers took turns announcing the lucky names. Winners trotted up to the stage, their smiles brighter than the midday sun. The prizes and cash rewards were generous enough to make hearts race. Every draw triggered a fresh wave of cheers and screams.

But the surprises weren’t over. On the second day of the event, which coincided with Myanmar’s annual Water Festival, the company prepared a thoughtful gift for every employee: a bag of high-quality local rice and a bottle of pure cooking oil. Each department came forward in turn – everyone received their share. Holding the heavy rice and oil, their smiles were even brighter than if they had won a grand prize. A Myanmar elder sister who had worked at the factory for ten years said, her eyes slightly red, “This isn’t just rice and oil – this is the company treating us like family.”

Once the gifts were distributed, the real revelry had just begun. No one knows who was the first to scoop up a basin of clean water and gently sprinkle it on those beside them – in an instant, the entire venue turned into a joyous water world! Everyone grabbed water scoops, buckets, or simply cupped water with their hands, laughing and shouting as they splashed each other. The water droplets refracted countless rainbows in the sunlight. Soaked clothes clung to their bodies, but no one took a step back. In that moment, there were no distinctions of nationality, culture, or rank – only uninhibited smiling faces and carefree, ecstatic cheers!

No distinctions of nationality, no hierarchies, no cultural barriers – only hearts connecting. We are simply brothers and sisters. Chinese and Myanmar hands clasped together form the strongest bridge. Thank you for these ten years – and to the next ten years, shoulder to shoulder!
