Donating Solar Streetlights, Lighting the Path to Safety

In Laigu Village, Myanmar, many villagers reported difficulties walking along unlit roads, with frequent accidents, especially when children returned home from school or elderly people went for evening walks. The complete lack of street lighting at night created safety hazards, leaving roads pitch black. To address this, we decided to donate solar-powered streetlights to the village.

We donated 230 solar streetlights and organized a collaborative effort between our employees and the villagers to install them together. These lights harness sunlight to charge during the day, automatically illuminating at night—an energy-efficient, environmentally friendly solution. Not only do these lights brighten the roads, enhancing the safety of nighttime travel, but they also warm the hearts of Laigu’s residents. This initiative is a true step forward in supporting green, low-carbon development while fulfilling our commitment to social responsibility.
